Nerve cut the discount
It found the brand was discounting deeper than it needed to. Nerve trimmed the discount by 10%, and customer numbers held. The revenue lift was immediate: +10% a month, worth around £50k a year and rising as sales do.
It spotted the missing category
The range planner saw the collection had no trousers. Nerve proposed reintroducing them, set the exact price, and used past data to back out the target cost so the brand hit its required margin. The product launched successfully.
It found the price gap
Nerve noticed products sat at £40–60 or £120+, with nothing between. That £60–120 band is a key price point for winning new customers, an opening the brand couldn’t see on its own.
Because Nerve reads Xero, it watches the cash too. It flags when an extra discount could help move stock, and when there’s room to put spare capital into marketing or new inventory. These are timing calls a lean team would otherwise be making blind.
From two reports, Nerve built the brand’s own customer personas and learned from its history. It’s now a key touchpoint for decisions about the future, and it gets sharper with every one.
